Health Picks PRO publishes research-based guides to over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aids and hearing health. Since the U.S. FDA created the OTC hearing aid category in October 2022, adults with perceived mild to moderate hearing loss have had more options than ever, along with plenty of confusing marketing. Our aim is to cut through it.
What we do
- Summarize what manufacturers actually state about their products, including prices, features and return policies, and link to the source.
- Explain relevant regulations and safety guidance, mainly from the FDA.
- Point out unverified claims and say clearly when a product isn’t what its search results suggest.
What we don’t do
We don’t claim hands-on lab testing we haven’t done, we don’t give medical advice, and we don’t guarantee results. Please read our Medical Disclaimer and Affiliate Disclosure.
How we’re funded
We earn commissions from some links. That never changes the facts we report. Questions? Visit our Contact page.
